Art, visual art in particular, can be used and is being used to compress messages and even narratives into short, powerful images, thus the quote “A picture is worth a thousand words”. Advertisers have cashed in using this medium, often times creating demand from nothing at all. read full article »

Last Monday, February 28, 2011, marked a month after the tragedy which took the lives of ten workers of the Eton Residences work site in Makati City. Joel Avecilla, William Bañez, Benbon Cristobal, Jeffrey Diocado, Jaykie Legada, Kevin Mabunga, Celso Mabuting, Tisoy Perez, Vicente Piñion and Michael Tatlonghari died after their gondola dropped from the 32nd floor.
